Includes beginner knitting instructions, yarn for your class and two evenings of lessons. You will need 5.00mm needles. Cost: $32.00. At 6:30 - 8:30, first two thursdays of each month as follows: you may choose any two thursdays.

- ♦Circular Knitted Vest:
- With 5 to 7 balls of Silk Garden Noro you can create a unique vest .
Working with double pointed needles and a circular needle you will create a design without any assembly required. A design that looks great from the smallest sizes to the more mature sizes. This is an intermediate class.
Supplies:set of double pointed needles and circular needles, Silk Knits pattern and yarn.
Cost: $35.00 plus supplies.

- ♦Felted Tote Bag - wet and dry techniques:
- Using 100% wool, with large size needles, we will first knit the tote bag.
Then using your washing machine, you will felt it by using hot water, soap and agitation. This will make a wonderful designer bag which can safely tote small items and books or even laptops. The tote bag can then be embellish by using the dry felting method.
Supplies:circular needles, 100% chunky wool, felting needle, small amount of white and black wool to dry felt.
Cost: $35.00 plus supplies.

- ♦Beginner:
- If you have a knitting machine and have not been able to set it up or knit with it, this is the class for you.
I will instruct you to set up your machine, learn to cast on cast off and work with yarn to create an afghan and a sweater. A great way to create those marvelous knits in a hurry.
Supplies:3 cones of different colors.

- Crochet has seemed to be the choice of anyone wanting to work and create with yarn.
Using one tool, the crochet hook has been a fascination for young and old. This needlecraft will take you from dishcloths, scarves, tops or fine crocheted doilies and of course todays fashion skirts and boleros. Did you ever want to do those georgeous Victorian dolls?
Includes beginner crochet instructions, yarn for your class, and two evenings for lessons. You will need 5.00mm crochet hook.

- ♦Hairpin Lace:
- This lace is formed over a u shaped wire frame called a hairpin, with the help of a crochet hook. It can be made with very fine thread or heavy yarn. This class will show you the principles of using the hairpin and will introduce you to the many lacy items that you can create with this technique.
Supplies:Hairpin loom, crochet hook, and yarn.

- ♦Beginner Hardanger - Bookmark:
- hardanger,or Hardangerom, is a form of whitework using counted thread and drawn thread work.
It is worked on evenweave fabric of either cotton or linen with perle cotton threads. Though traditionally worked in white thread on white fabrics, color has been used for many years now, both in the fabrics and threads. This is a wonderful alternative to those who like cross stitch. This project will get you started on the road to hardanger embroidery.
Cost: $30.00 plus supplies.

- ♦Punchneedle Embroidery - Pin Cushion:
- Punch needle embroidery, (Needle Punch), is an easy way to embroider.
This embroidery technique is worked with a special tool called a punch needle which creates loops on the fabric. Amazing textures from one easy learnt stitch! Using a myriad of different coloured threads, yarns and silk ribbons through various sized punchneedles. When I first tried this technique, I was hooked! The possibilities are endless: embroidery thread, overdyed threads, silk threads, and ribbons, are just a few threads you can use. As well, you can adjust you needle for different texture heights.
